MGS Cleaning: an operating app for a commercial cleaning company

One place for MGS Cleaning's clients, crews, schedule and money, with an AI assistant its team can use in two languages.

The problem

MGS Cleaning, a commercial cleaning company on Cape Cod, was running its clients, crews and payments across separate tools, with a team that works in more than one language.

How we designed it

Before redesigning the app, our research seat studied how leading consumer AI apps lay out their screens, one screen at a time (13 September 2026). The same day, every request for the app went into one defect ledger, each with the screen it touched, and the work was checked against that ledger. Among them: the app's icon and name in the company's own brand, an assistant that works like the AI chat apps people already use, a way to see recent chats, and more room for the main menu.

What we built

  • Clients and crew logins in one private app
  • Scheduling for the crews, with a clock-in that saves an off-site or no-GPS tap and flags it for the office instead of refusing it
  • Invoices and payouts through Stripe
  • An AI assistant the team can use in Portuguese or English
  • A tracker page where the owner follows the work, step by step

How each release ships

A second agent checks a release before it ships. Before release 2f changed the database, the database was backed up, encrypted and stored off-site, and the restore was proven. Release 2f went live on 7 October 2026, and about an hour later the end-to-end test run against the live app passed 56 of 56 checks.

What it does now

The app was deployed on 12 September 2026 and has been in the owner's hands since 13 September. On 14 September it became our first software subscription. It is in beta. On 19 October 2026 a daily clock and weekly pay were in progress.

The stack

  • A web app on Vercel
  • A Postgres database
  • Stripe for invoices and payouts
  • An AI assistant built into the app

The outcome

  • Deployed 12 September 2026; in the owner's hands since 13 September
  • Our first software subscription, 14 September 2026
  • Release 2f: 56 of 56 end-to-end checks passed on the live app, 8 October 2026

Built with the Harmony fleet

HESTIA and MORPHEUS 2.0 built and fixed the app. ARGUS studied the screens, METIS ran the client desk, MNEMOSYNE gated release 2f, and ELENCHUS checked releases from a second machine.
